Upon arrival at Juan Santamaría International airport, our driver will meet and transfer you to Country Inn & Suites Hotel in San José, located 10 minutes away from the international airport. And 15 minutes from the capital’s main attractions, like the impressive Pre-Columbian Gold Museum and the beautiful National Theater.

After breakfast you will continue to Sarapiqui Area. Sarapiquí is located near to the Caribbean side of Costa Rica, a region where you can find tropical rain forests, swamps, and plantations, in a biologically rich territory, a humid land that can be explored by way of the dense network of trails within the protected areas, which are of great importance for the conservation of birds and other animal species. Overnight at Selva Verde Lodge.

Breakfast. Free morning, we recommend you to visit the trails of the hotel, the hanging bridges and Sarapiquí River. At 1:00 pm, transfer to Arenal Volcano Area with private transportation. This area offers a landscape composed by forests, lakes, fields of crops, rivers with hot springs, and the most active volcano. Overnight at Arenal Paraíso Hotel.

Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the area and the hotel facilities like trails and swimming pools. The Arenal Volcano area is one of the best attractions in Costa Rica, where you can relax in the hot springs and feel the soothing waters, with an excellent view to the most active volcano in the country. Arenal Volcano is one of the most scenic volcanoes in Costa Rica. It has the shape of an almost perfect cone, and can be seen from very far away.
At the evening, visit to Baldi hot springs with dinner included. This resort has 16 different swimming pools with hot water and a good view of the volcano. Overnight at Arenal Paraíso Hotel.

After breakfast, you will continue to Guanacaste province to Rincón de la Vieja National Park. Overnight at Hacienda Guachipelín Hotel.
The park has a variety of wildlife, such as over 300 species of birds, three-wattled bellbird (Procnias tricarunculata) and emerald toucanet (Aulacorhynchus prasinus), and also various quetzals, curassows, eagles, etc. Mammals seen in the park include cougars, monkeys, kinkajous, jaguars and many more.
In the foot of the volcano, of the south size are the areas called Las Pailas and the Hornilllas, exist three thermal fountains that give place to hot broken waters, lagoons occupied by small depressions in which the water boil continually, orifices in which vapor flow elevates during the rainy season and small mud volcanoes of different shapes.

Breakfast. In the morning, departure to Flamingo Beach, this is a beautiful white sand beach, where you can enjoy fishing and diving for an extra charge. Overnight at Flamingo Marina Hotel.

Breakfast. Free morning to enjoy the area. At 1:30 pm private transfer to San José. Overnight at Country Inn & Suites.
