Upon arrival at Juan Santamaría International airport, our driver will meet and transfer you to Don Carlos Hotel in San José. Located in the oldest historical section of San José, the ‘Four Star’ Hotel Don Carlos is a small, but significant part of Costa Rica’s rich heritage. Once upon a time residence for two past Presidential families, the historical Hotel Don Carlos’ warmth and charm, graciously awaits you. Overnight  at Don Carlos Hotel.

Tour to Tortuguero National Park. Typical breakfast included on the way and visit  to a banana plantation. Boat transfer to your lodge. Lunch. In the afternoon visit Tortuguero town and the small museum of the Caribbean Conservation Corporation. Dinner. Overnight at Mawamba Lodge or similar.

Breakfast.  Departure to Siquirres to continue to  Arenal Volcano. Box lunch.   The very active Arenal Volcano frequently emits sounds of violent explosions, attended by clouds of gray, brown, and orange gases.  Dinner.  Overnight at Arenal Paraíso Hotel, who offers spectacular views of the nightly showers of lava and glowing rocks discharged from the volcano, from the private balcony.

Breakfast . Visit to Arenal Volcano National Park and in the evening,  visit to Tabacón hot springs, where the hot springs flow from the veins of the splendorous and active Arenal Volcano. Enjoy this natural wonder of Costa Rica and soothing feeling in any of mineral pools. Buffet dinner. Overnight at Arenal  Paraíso Hotel

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Monteverde Cloud Forest, where you may spot birds such as the silvery-throated jay, spangled-checked tanager, black-thighed grosbeak, and the yellow-throated finch. Free afternoon, we recommend you to visit Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, one of the richest and most diverse tropical cloud forests in the world. Overnight at the Trapp Family Lodge. The nearest hotel to the famous Monteverde Cloud forest Reserve, The Trapp Family Lodge offers the feeling of being in the middle of a charming cloud forest. The mountain suites have a spectacular view to the Monteverde Reserve. Dinner.

After a delicious early morning breakfast, you will be taken to Selvatura walkways; it’s an unforgettable experience, the excitement of looking to one side and seeing the tops of the trees and at the same time feel the sensation of walking among the clouds. Selvatura walkways is a unique system of suspension bridges that zigzag through deep canyons at the level of the treetops. Free afternoon. Dinner.  Overnight at Trapp Family Lodge.

After enjoying breakfast pick the rental car up at your hotel. Departure to Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge. These amazing wetlands are located in the northern zone of Costa Rica, close to the small village of Los Chiles in the Province of Alajuela. Caño Negro is mainly conformed by the Caño Negro Lagoon and the Rio Frio. It has an extension of 9960 Hs., and it is one of the most important biological areas of the country and the four most important wetlands area in the world. Cano Negro Wild Life Refuge was declared "Wildlife Area of International Importance" in 1991. This Costa Rica ecological treasure is the natural habitat of more than 350 species of birds, as well as the emerald basilisk, iguanas, river turtles, caimans and jaguars. Lunch. Free afternoon to enjoy the area. Dinner. Overnight at Caño Negro Natural Lodge.

After breakfast departure to Arenal Area. In the afternoon visit to Tabacòn Hot Springs where you can sooth your muscles in the clear, relaxing thermal springs. Buffet dinner.  Overnight at Arenal Springs Hotel.

Day 05: After enjoying breakfast departure to Rincón de la Vieja area. Rincón de la Vieja is the largest volcano in the country's northwest, comprises a remote volcanic complex in the Guanacaste Range. At least nine eruptive vents are located within a 15-kilometer-wide caldera. The twin cone of 1,916 meter Santa Maria volcano, the highest peak of the Rincon complex, features an incactive crater 500 meters across. Arrival to Hacienda Guachipelín. The Hacienda borders the popular Rincon de la Vieja National Park. Since 1985, Hacienda Guachipelin has also been hosting a steady flow of visitors, helping them enjoy the natural beauty of the ranch and the neighboring national park, where you will experience volcanic activity as in no other volcano in Costa Rica. Lunch. Free afternoon to enjoy the area. Dinner. Overnight at Hacienda Guachipelín.

Breakfast. Rio Negro Tubing Adventure: After a 45 minute horseback ride through the dry forest, we get to the changing rooms, where we can get ready to go tubing. After a short walk, we get to the base of La Victoria Waterfall, to receive a short safety breafing. Then each one gets his own personal round raft, to get his adrenalin pumping as he rides the white water rapids in the Rio Negro, for an hour and a half. Then we go to the changing rooms and get the horses to go back to the lodge. Lunch. Dinner. Overnigth  at Hacienda Guachipelìn.

After breakfast departure to Manuel Antonio beach. Manuel Antonio National  park is so popular because of its expensive white sand beaches The principal habitants are primary forest, secondary forest, mangrove swamps, lagoons and beach vegetation. There is quite a varied fauna with a lot of species of mammals and birds. Overnight at  La Mansion Inn hotel. this luxury ocean view resort is located in Manuel Antonio, only 2 kms from de Manuel Antonio National Park one of the natural zoos of the world.  Combining this exotic setting with the finest foods, services and amenities available, the hotel offers you the best of both worlds for your enjoyment.
