Package # 1: (10 days/ 09 nights) San José- Sarapiquí River Rafting-Sarapiquí- Arenal Volcano- Panamá Beach- Monteverde Cloud Forest-San José Itinerary Day 01: San José Upon arrival at Juan Santamaría International airport, our driver will meet and transfer you to Country Inn & Suites Hotel in San José, located 10 minutes away from the international airport. Overnight at Country Inn & Suites.
Day 02: San José/ Sarapiquí River Rafting Pick up at 6:20 am in your hotel for the White Water Rafting in Sarapiquí River Class II and III, special for beginners, breakfast and lunch included in the tour. The Sarapiquí's rapids are moderate class II-III. Thus, it is the perfect adventure for families with children. Rapids such as "Confusión", "Ay Caramba" and "Roller Coaster" will satisfy your daily dosage for adrenaline and water splash! In addition, the clear, warm water is perfect for enjoying a swim between rapids. Then continue to Sarapiquí, located near to the Caribbean side of Costa Rica, a region where you can find tropical rain forests, swamps, and plantations, in a biologically rich territory, a humid land that can be explored by way of the dense network of trails within the protected areas, which are of great importance for the conservation of birds and other animal species. Overnight at Selva Verde Lodge.
Day 03: Sarapiquí/ Arenal Volcano Breakfast. Free morning, we recommend you to visit the trails of the hotel, the hanging bridges and Sarapiquí River. At 1:00 pm, transfer to Arenal Volcano Area with private transportation. This area offers a landscape composed by forests, lakes, fields of crops, rivers with hot springs, and the most active volcano. Overnight at Arenal Paraíso Hotel, this other offers a great view of the volcano from the private balcony of each room. Day 04: Arenal Volcano Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the area and the hotel facilities like trails and swimming pools. At the evening, visit to Baldi hot springs with dinner included. This resort has 16 different swimming pools with hot water and a good view of the volcano. Overnight at Arenal Paraíso Hotel.
Day 05: Arenal Volcano/ Panamá Beach After breakfast, you will continue to Guanacaste province where you can enjoy beautiful beaches and sunny days. Overnight at Casa Conde del Mar Hotel. Day 06: Panamá Beach Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the area and optional tours. Playa Panamá is a calm, sandy beach, it's ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and other outdoor activities. It's also a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Overnight at Casa Conde del Mar Hotel.
Day 07: Panamá Beach/ Monteverde Cloud Forest Breakfast. In the morning, transfer to Monteverde Cloud Forest. Overnight at Cloud Forest Lodge. The Monteverde Cloud Forest has excellent trails for hiking and exploration. A great way to explore the forest is to take a skywalk or a Rappelling Tour or Canopy Tour, where visitors can view the forest from a series of bridges and cables that offer a bird’s eye view of the reserve below. Due to the fragile nature of this reserve, a maximum of 120 people are allowed on a single trail at the same time, which are often bordered with exotic flowers such as ‘hot lips’ and a variety of ferns and plants. Day 08: Monteverde Cloud Forest Breakfast. In the morning tour to the hanging bridges and canopy tour. Free afternoon, we recommend you to visit Monteverde Biological Reserve. Overnight at Cloud Forest Lodge.
Day 09: Monteverde Cloud Forest/ San José Breakfast. Free morning to enjoy the area. At 1:30 pm private transfer to San José. Overnight at Country Inn & Suites. Day 10: San Jose/ Flight back home After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home. Includes:

Arenal Volcano is one of the most scenic volcanoes in Costa Rica. It has the shape of an almost perfect cone, and can be seen from very far away. Day 05: Arenal Volcano/ Rincón de la Vieja After breakfast, you will continue to Guanacaste province to Rincón de la Vieja National Park. Overnight at Hacienda Guachipelín Hotel. The park has a variety of wildlife, such as over 300 species of birds, three-wattled bellbird (Procnias tricarunculata) and emerald toucanet (Aulacorhynchus prasinus), and also various quetzals, curassows, eagles, etc. Mammals seen in the park include cougars, monkeys, kinkajous, jaguars and many more. In the foot of the volcano, of the south size are the areas called Las Pailas and the Hornilllas, exist three thermal fountains that give place to hot broken waters, lagoons occupied by small depressions in which the water boil continually, orifices in which vapor flow elevates during the rainy season and small mud volcanoes of different shapes. Day 06: Rincón de la Vieja Breakfast, free day to enjoy the area and Rincón de la Vieja National Park. Overnight at Hacienda Guachipelín Hotel. Day 07: Rincón de la Vieja/ Flamingo Beach Breakfast. In the morning, departure to Flamingo Beach, this is a beautiful white sand beach, where you can enjoy fishing and diving for an extra charge. Overnight at Flamingo Marina Hotel.
